She had looked down from the book, or over the top of the page- it didn't matter. She was no longer looking at the pages that she was supposed to be reading.

Her mind was elsewhere. An ocean away where someone else was living. And so she sat and thought of that person and not of the book in her hands. And this empty but warm feeling washed over her face and she smiled.

Smiling, she turned back to the book. Around the World in 80 Days...
