My bags are packed, I have a sweatshirt and money. My passport is at hand and I have a boarding pass. I'm wearing flip flops so that I don't have to take my shoes off. I have an infection in my left earring hole. I hope that it calms down because it hurts. But this is it-- I'm off to the flight in five hours. Updates will be brief and sporadic. I plan on having a wonderful vacation- as it seems it's that time of year when everyone is pining for something different. I am achieving what I pine for.
