So there I was, cowering by this car that had stopped during the sudden onslaught of gunfire. I had my knees underneath me, sort of sprawled downwards facing the ground. Trying to keep my face to the ground so as to disguise my status. They had pistols and were running around regardless of who was shooting at who. I knew my turn was next. After that drop to the ground to escape the bullet once, I stayed low. They had assumed I was dead. DEAD. Years later the story came out. CNN reported: MAN ONCE DEAD, NOW SEEN ALIVE
