in the morning i took a shower. i walked outside to a car. and almost got hit by a car. completely oblivious to it all. it came by in slow motion. missed me barely. oh, god. that almost hit me. or did it? maybe i just kept crossing the street in my mind while my body was still laying back a foot, paralyzed.
