I think last night, a few things were said rather well. Ben and I shall publish our conversations.. like "conversations with Laing," only it won't be as clear as his were. He said that the war made him laugh. I told him that it made my eyes sad, but my mouth laugh. Medhi taught me that lyng in a diary is amusing-- as it's a diary and we all expect truth in it. And when the most trustworthy fake it, the whole world is turned upside down. That, ladies and gentlemen, was the lesson from my last entry. In other news, I'm staying in my glass tower and hoping that the shrapnel doesn't get to me.
